Students Life in G.H.S Buea
The students of G.H.S Buea carry out many different activities. The Most important activity is definitely educational studies. The yearly calender is divided into a period of six (6) sequences. Each sequence is made up of six (6) weeks. During each sequence, there is study and an examination at the end of the sequence. The students also take part in sporting activities at divisional, provincial and even national level.The different sporting activities here include, football, handball, volleyball, table tennis, track and field etc.In addition to this, the school takes part in intelligence quiz called young Geniuses organized by Alliance Franco- Camerounaise Buea.The students are also engaged in activities such as traditional dance, singing by the school choir. Competition on HIV-AIDS. There are also club activities. A student is free to belong to any club of his /her choice. Some of the clubs are health club, Environmental club, HIV/AIDS club English/Debate club, internet club, Young farmers club, cultural Dance club, school choir Ballet/Majorette club, Journalism club, Bilingualism club, civic education club and many others.

There exist some student residencial quarters near the school. At present, students rent single rooms at "poto poto" quarter, long street and the Likoko neighborhood
