Latest Developments @ GHS Buea

From its inception on the educational map way back in 1987, GHS Buea has greatly metamorphosed intellectual wise and structurally.
The raison d’être of this write up is to give an encounter of the recent developmental scheme recorded in the school within the school year 2008/2009.
Under the superb leadership of its patriotic and dutiful principal, Madam Hannah Mbua Etonde, GHS Buea can now boast of well equipped and modern computer laboratories.  The recent one was donated some few months back by E-NAPAD thanks to negotiations by the school management.
Perhaps, one of the most outstanding structural achievements is the putting in place of a new and well equipped science lab. This new science lab will serve as a complement to the already existing one.  These according to the principal will go a long way to improve on the performances of our school “Doctors”, the science students.
Also within the academic year, the school benefited from the meticulous collaboration of the PTA which enhanced the building of two classrooms, now hosting Form 5A and LsAA and UsAA.
At least, learning and teaching in the noisy library atmosphere will now be conjugated in the part.
In order to reduce and perhaps stop the rampant movement of students, under the pretext of going to drink water, the school administration within the school year enabled the installation of another tap. The tap which is planted adjacent UsA, is already in use.
Lastly, to make effective usage of these amenities, the principal has called on all and sundry to avoid vandalism so that vandalism will not vandalize them.
