Admission Formalities in GHS Buea

Any student is eligible for admission into G.H.S Buea. However, there are General and specific requirements for admission into the different classes of the school.

Students seeking admission into form 1 should have passed in List A in the Government common Entrance Examination in which he/she chose the school as the first choice. The student must also attend the interview organized by the school.

Students seeking admission into forms two to four and upper sixth must present a valid progress report, a transfer certificate and must write the entrance examination organized by the school in the month of July or August

Repeaters seeking re-admission into forms five and upper sixth must
Present their G.C.E result slips and their 3rd term report slips of the previous year.

All newly admitted students are required to sign an undertaking of good conduct

Admission Requirements into G.H.S

- Application form(obtainable from the school
- Photocopy of Birth certificate
- Original copy of progress report card
-Transfer certificate and/or attestation of good conduct

Some courses offereed in GHS Buea.
The school offers courses in the Arts and science selections. Entrance into lower sixth form is through selection. The candidate is required to have passed in at least four Ordinary Level subjects, have a combination, and passed in English language
